• The Global Village has enabled the cosmopolitan society of the UAE as well as the international visitors to this annual event to sample a diverse collection of cultures from throughout the world since its origin in 1996.
• The Dubai Port Authority, plans to expand upon the variety of countries each year. In addition to the cultural displays and activities, there is an extensive rides and attractions area, a 2500 seat Amphitheater, and traditional souqs, or market stalls, to provide a truly immersive cultural experience.
