Shaker Square Conceptual Master Plan

• The purpose of the project is to redevelop unused and overlooked public space into a useful, multi-functional and aesthetically magnificent urban park. Shaker Squre is meant to serve as both a development catalyst and a neighborhood heart.
• Integration of a various transit methods in and around the park provided a challenge. The park is bisected by light-rail transit, and bound by some of the busiest streets on the east side of Cleveland.
• MSI’s services included master planning, urban design analysis and site design.
